ABOUT NWIEP

Real Skills. Real Experience. Real Futures.

Who we are. National Work-Integrated Education Partnership is an education and workforce development organisation operating across Nigeria, the United Kingdom, and Canada. We exist to close the gap between what young people learn and what work actually requires — and to strengthen the schools where that learning begins.

Where we started. Our work began in 1996 in Itagunmodi Village, in the field, helping to establish and strengthen private schools in West Africa. Through Life Connections we have since supported hundreds of schools across Nigeria and beyond with setup, growth, marketing, and consultancy. What began in a village has become an international partnership — but the method has not changed: practical help, delivered to the people actually doing the work.

What we believe. That a certificate should represent something an employer can verify. That a school should be able to outlive its founder. That a young person's postcode and family income should not determine whether they are prepared for work. And that the people best placed to change African education are African educators — given the right tools, structure, and support.

How we deliver. Our platform runs on two parallel tracks so that no learner is excluded. A full digital track serves private secondary schools and universities with reliable connectivity. An offline-first track, using USSD and SMS, serves public schools and lower-connectivity regions. Our credentialing and employer-matching infrastructure remains accessible regardless of a student's economic background or location.

Our structure. NWIEP UK Ltd · NWIEP CA Inc · Nationwide Work-Integrated Education Partnership Nig. Ltd., in partnership with Life Connections and Company. The Nigerian entity leads our West African operations and publishing distribution; the UK entity leads publishing and international programmes.
